A MESSAGE FROM YOUR (TEEN!) BLOGGER

Hi Readers,

The Best Day of My Life So Far and I are thrilled to present our official satellite, "Our Best Day So Far", produced in partnership with AARP and The Free Library of Philadelphia.

For those unfamiliar with the aforementioned group, my mentor Benita Cooper founded The Best Day of My Life So Far in 2009. She was inspired after hearing all of the remarkable stories her grandmother tells her when they would speak on the phone. Her idea then grew to a weekly storytelling gathering at Philadelphia Senior Center and a blog where Benita shares seniors' stories with their families, friends, and curious minds all over the world. The goal of this satellite is build on the camaraderie and communication of our group and bring it to various sites all over the world.

Seniors and teens meet up at the library for storytelling class every Wednesday afternoon at Philadelphia's Parkway Central Library. On behalf of me, Benita, and our energetic co-leaders Amy Henson and Brendan O'Hara, thanks a million for reading our satellite blog!
